When people think about literary translation, they usually think about translated literary works, produced by famous translators or even by well-known writers.
However, literary translation is really a minimal part of translators’ work, since the translation speaks to our imagination. In this course you will develop your skills in this field.
To translate literature or poetry, you need to be an inspired writer yourself, with a broad knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, culture and of course having a creative imagination.
This course will also be a great opportunity to practice your literary linguistic skills!
Price: 300 € /month
As we suppose that you have an excellent knowledge of your mother tongue and at least a B2 level in your foreign language, we focus on translation skills.
You will learn how to analyse a text, how to understand it correctly and use the right terminology, amongst other skills. The course is about practice with a minimum of theory.
What about a “virtual coffee” as we used to have it in Spain, and we discuss all details of your course?
